The young golfer will have numerous well-known supporters when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates several international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she revealed.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He basically advised me to compete and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's quite busy."
Being non-professional, the golfer has played in only three events in 2024 and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.
"And he's an even better human being. He told me to go out there, relax, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation brings the sport to new audiences, specifically among the next generation.
